Why is it important to protect our digestion?

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) our digestion is the centre of our being. The Stomach and Spleen (earth element organs)  control how well we extract nutrients from food, how we process this and convert it into energy as well as eliminate unwanted bi-products (via the intestines).

In this brief video, Katherine Berry and Patricia Kowal discuss the role of the digestion and the importance of eating well​ and in accordance with your elemental body type and the laws of nature.
